New user here. Just worked through an inquiry from a potential guest. Process was extremely intuitive and simple!

The app is not user-friendly at all. There is always some sort of bug going on with the app. Anytime you need customer service and have to call support, (which is A LOT with Vrbo) you have to uninstall the app just to be able to use the website version as a customer service reps need you to. In general, the company is terrible. They don't invest money into the company, are greedy, and it shows. They could care less about the hosts of this company. If you can, avoid at all costs!

Initial 1 star review in July 2025. Nothing has changed but numerous 1 star app reviews since, yet VRBO is making 200-500/booking and can't find programers to bring a decent app to the end user. App doesn't allow you to change between your properties. Pages take forever to load. App is unstable/crashes. Selecting a payout account for each property is not at all clear. Messages from guests are delayed. Can't link lock w/ app and guest stay.

I use VRBO as a host and the app makes simple tasks painful. Listing management is inconsistent and limited. Communication with guests is even more frustrating. The chat screen is bugged: the keyboard overlaps the active row, so you cannot see your text or send messages normally. I often have to switch to desktop just to reply. Please fix the chat input, improve listing controls, and focus on stability. Until then, I cannot recommend this app to hosts.
