Lyse is a large Norwegian utility group with deep roots in energy and infrastructure, leveraging that experience to become a leader in fiber-optic broadband. Altibox's core business model is a unique B2B Partnership model where it provides a unified brand and wholesale services to over 35 local Norwegian and 6 Danish FTTH networks. These local partners, many of which are regional energy companies, are responsible for the local network build-out, customer support, and sales, while Altibox supplies the central platform and product offerings. This structure has allowed Altibox to rapidly expand its fiber footprint across Norway and become one of the largest fiber-based telecom entities in the country, often holding a market share comparable to the incumbent operator, Telenor.
