unfortunately the VPN seems not to work for any device hotspotting with the phone. earlier versions would allow the devices connecting via hotspot to also use the VPN to encrypt their traffic. this one does not so is useless for my use case. I'll spend one more day trying to get it to work then failing that I'm uninstall it.

the VPN won't stay on the phone won't open because the permission controller keeps shutting off ☹️🤬
