Having Google own them, it was a painful experience going through customer service. Especially with billing. The subscription was under Google and Ace support did not have access to it. Played a game of hot potato between the two support over the phone before eating the cost and cancelling.

perfect for my kid. Has great basic functions and keeps it walled off unless parent approval. 9.99 is a bit high for what it is and too bad there isn't an annual subscription for like 10 percent off or something.

Gives us a lot of what we wanted. I do wish we had a way to view the messages our son was sending and receiving with other folks on the list. I'd also like to be able to block his game play without messaging being blocked. It'd be great to block all notifications, except messaging and calling between my son and his mom/I. Also, when signing up, it is important to know that you want you Google 1 acct is what you start with. also, want maps for the watch and ability to send locations to meet/pics.

Last changes made it better. Still the parents on phone notifications for messages needs to be improved by adding the ability to respond in the notification shade and quick response or bubbles, Android auto and Pixel watch. Calls always come in unknown inside of specific app or contact

After a long research, we landed on Google Fitbit Ace LTE or Garmin Bounce 2. After hearing about intermittent GPS tracking loss issues, we settled on the Fitbit Ace LTE. What a bad choice! Fitbit Ace app for the parent doesn't show any info of importance. Heath tracking is shown on the watch only. Looking to track non-verbal child, when their biom is elevated or agitated, this app is useless. Highly disappointed on Fitbit Ace LTE! I recommend any parent to go with Garmin Bounce instead.

Bought for my 6th grader and has been perfect for us. She'd had Ace 2 for years & took good care of it. She likes that Ace LTE looks sophisticated (like adult Fitbit or Pixel watch), but has games & allows her to communicate w us. I like seeing where she is when she takes the bus, etc. The developers seem responsive so far & continue to add new features. We're planning to use this instead of a phone thru middle school. I wish I could see on the app when my kiddo sets her watch on DND.
