New setup is terrible and unintuitive. Can't get rid of the popup to control what's on the TV which is terribly obnoxious.

I was really enjoying this app and the benefits it provided in being able to manage my home. however after a recent update it appears that it can no longer track when I am home or not. I hate sitting home and have all my devices turn off because it thinks I have left. what a drag. I am so tired of Google's move fast and break things philosophy. I guess it's time to find a better platform.
