2025 update: Manta got too greedy. You have to pay per chapter for the good stories, the subscription service just isn't enough anymore. Also, they added a lot of smut and literal p0r n to the app to make more money. I used this app daily for 4 years until they changed their model, now I must sadly unsubscribe and uninstall.

I've had this app for years and the subscription for nearly as long as it used to be well worth it. I used to check this religiously but I've been reaching for this app less and less. The layout has gotten less intuitive which makes it annoying to use. The tailored stories make me wonder how much content I'm missing out on by not wanting to open desktop just to read them. And of course, the big issue, it's gotten so expensive to read anything. I hardly open this app anymore which is really sad

I’m really disappointed. I was charged ₱640 even after uninstalling the app and forgetting to unlink my GCash. When I reached out for help, all I got was a message saying “all payments are final.” I know it was partly my fault for not checking, but some consideration and understanding would have gone a long way. Not everyone can just lose money like that—zero compassion for honest mistakes🥲
