My app doesn't seem to work. No notification received as to filing 2024, I saved text messages, federal and state received my filing with the update of information.

I go in person every year to hr&block to do my taxes and wanted to try and do it on the app this year. I did want to try and use the free version since I'm preparing them myself anyways... I had one simple question about paying my taxes thru their app and their customer service is AI and refused to connect me to someone live because I used the free version. I'm 34 and know how to use these type of apps, next year I will find a local tax prep place and pay them and not a nationwide business.

Edit, but same rating, update to present: when signing in on the app or web browser, they hold all of the same information, meaning no information at all. I can no longer check my Emerald card account and see transactions. I am only prompted to file taxes, check out an article or two, and check out Spruce. It's only been a month since I last signed in, and the massive overhaul means it's unusable.
