I used UPDF for 2 years to read PDF files and annotate. Recently, it was updated to version 2.0 with new features. The new OCR is really helpful as it can help me convert scanned PDF to editable. It is awesome. Wait for more new features to be added.

Somany minor issues coalesce to make it a horrible experience: 1. People select text mostly to copy it, Copy option is two clicks away 2. Opening WhatsApp PDF files is a mess, UPDF won't show up in the list of PDF Readers when opening files from WA. 3. File Access is a mess, need to give permissions for each folder.
