Flex splits your monthly rent into smaller, more manageable payments that are easier on your budget. It helps you pay rent on time, build your credit history, and breathe a little easier every month.

How it works

Flex gives you access to a credit line that you can use for rent. Each month, you pay part of your rent up front and borrow the rest. Flex pays your full rent to your property when it’s due, and you pay Flex back later in the month—on a schedule that works for you and your finances.

Flexible Finance, Inc., together with its subsidiaries (“Flex”), is a financial technology company, not a bank. All loans, banking services, and payment transmissions are offered by Lead Bank. An application and credit assessment are required. Unsecured lines of credit for Flexible Rent are provided for a recurring monthly membership fee up to $14.99; membership automatically renews until canceled. A bill payment fee of 1% of your total rent amount is also charged (an additional 2.5% processing fee applies when using a credit card). Term loans for Flex Move-in are provided at 16.95%- 23.84% annual percentage rate (APR) based on state of residence, loan duration, and other relevant factors. A bill payment fee of 1% of your initial payment amount is also charged. Term loans are currently only available to eligible customers in certain states.Other third party fees may apply. See your offer for more details. Positive rent payment history and information about your loan may be reported to one or more national credit bureaus. All Loan amounts vary based on eligibility. Its a functional service. It IS very convenient. But I can't help but give it 4 stars, because most of the time I need help with something I can only get help from an AI chat bot that predominantly refers to general Q&A forum pages that typically don't answer "specific questions". Yes, you can chat with a human if the AI can't understand your questions, and they HAVE helped me before. But, I'm sorry, you can call me "old" all you'd like, but this service needs a customer support hotline.
