In my opinion it's a great app for learning for beginners, or just newbies in general. it's engaging, cute and most importantly effective. There are some complaints, such as the English translations being questionable at times, and the interface not always working correctly, but all and all, I am glad to have gotten the premium version. It's great :3 I see the dedication of the Devs, especially after having joined the Discord, and this app deserves nothing less than 5 starts.

so far so good. the basic japanese course is proving to be good but the alphabet learning & lessons are locked behind a paywall, which is definitely bad form. I wouldn't mind ads but to lock it is just scummy.
