This is the greatest digital writing app - it is totally dependable vis-a-vis the normal required quality elements every text app should involve. But the aesthetic qualities it offers is exceptional -- , < Still adding further elements would be welcome - the option to add further images and a recording option to add sound -- >

underrated!!! use this all the time for my notes, easy to organize all my stuff, one time payment (thank GOD because all these subscriptions and micro transactions are genuinely the bane of my existence smh) and thats only IF you want the premium version-- i got it after three years of using the free version because i wanted to support the devs-- thank you so much for this app pencake creators pls dont explode

What's the latest behind-the-scenes progress on the app? It's been ages since the last update, and folder bugs persist: overly sensitive to mis-taps entering 'edit' mode, especially with multiples. Are the dev team's current priorities truly the right path—with a critical eye—to address voiced issues (email/feedback), evolve/upgrade the app, reinforce core functionality, and deliver the long-awaited, some might even consider: "essential" features users + app need? I can only reach you this way.

Love is a strong word, though much befitting for this app. I've used Pencake for years, and it was never once a disappointment. I love it more than any of the subjects of love I wrote poems and stories about. :)

While I do acknowledge the need for profit — most things cost money, and even while I can congratulate Pencake for being 'the best, simplistic writing app', it does appear to have very little features in stock for free users, and those installing w/o premium will likely have issues, but besides that concern, Pencake is without any major glitches, or issues that would appear when dealing with your average text editor.
