This was once a 5 star app for me, but it has changed so much since I started using it, that it's almost unrecognizable now. Gone are the features I cared about (listings by show/program, with many past episodes, the live feed from NHK-World, the language lessons, etc.) and in their place is a disorganized and difficult to navigate mess of articles and clips. Yes, most of the content I'm looking for can be found on their website, but it's not as good or as convenient as the app was before. Sad!

Before the Sept. update, the app worked. Now the app crashes constantly. The app is now useless.

A wonderful channel, but this app is totally flawed. In landscape position (the obvious way to view) on my Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet, the screen flickers continuously making it impossible to use. Viewing the website on an Android web browser is a problem also, because clicking on the full screen logo, does not produce true screen. It cuts off subtitles at the bottom. Interestingly, your app for a Roku device plugged into a smart TV works excellently. NHK should be able to do much better on Android.
