love the app. UI is nice appealing and intuitive, does exactly what I need. literally all I could ask for is for the cross fade to be perfected, and it's an easy 5 stars

I WILL HAPPILY CHANGE THIS TO 5 STAR IF FIXED... I use this app all the time, it's great, but the recent Android (21/10) update means that unless I'm ONLY using this app, after each song the sound disappears, obviously something to do with the communication between apps and background hierarchy but it's incredibly frustrating and really don't want to find a new music player.

I used to love Retro Music Player — clean UI, simple controls, and reliable playback. But recently, a huge problem cropped up: once you set an album cover, it refuses to update, no matter what you do. Clearing caches, rescanning libraries, even renaming files doesn’t fix it. This issue didn’t exist before, and now it makes managing music frustrating and almost impossible. Such a glaring bug really undermines what was once a solid music app.
