Does not work on my Samsung S21+ nor my Tab 5e. It's favorite message is "Something has gone wrong." Junk app not worthy of the Economist. 2 year update - it works on my S24+ phone but not my S7 tablet. Why do I pay for digital access if I can't use it?

The World in Brief being narrated by AI is annoying. Listening to all the butchered names such as 'Miley' (Argentina's president). I think at the very least it should be clearly announced in audio that it's AI or even better, AI narration should be ditched for human narrators giving opportunities to more junior staff members or whatnot, better thst losing credibility.

the insider video has never worked. have tried in USA & now SE Asia. video spins for a few seconds & got message something went wrong... don't find anywhere else to report the problem ANYONE HERE???

Great journalism, responsive app, and it's easy to find articles. A shame that even the paid version has advertising with reader tracking. The thing I would most like changed is that the smallest text size still feels too big; I often read this newspaper on a phone. (this review has been edited on multiple occasions to reflect updates to the app and the user experience).

the reading side is great but the audio speed options are terrible- 1x is sleeping inducing and 1.25 is too quick for my ageing brain, please can we have a slider so we can set at the pace we want
