I found out that nothing beats the original, when I made the mistake of using thumbtuck to hire a professional, instead of dealing directly with them, like I do on Angi, from now on it's strictly Angi.

Everyone from Angie was really good.They made phone calls.They tried to make appointments, but I was quick in acting.And I've gotten someone to fix it real quick so I didn't need anybody else but they were very nice.And then did say they would come out so I was quite thank you.And you have a great team running for you?And if I need something else I'll be sure to call.Thank you

I get a call shortly after signing up, they explain they have to do a background check before I get access, that they're the middle man & I pay for their intervention. Fine, I play along. They ask how many clients I want, what I'm charging, who my references are, contact info, etc. I say I don't know now, that I just signed up and would rather do field research before I make decisions - but they keep pushing me & 30 minutes later I find they're asking for a min few hundred a month. Absurd.
