The functionality of the app is pretty good, absolutely love the Cradlewise itself. I'm not sure if it's a recent update, but unless I force stop the app the phone volume output will occasionally change between media and call volume, even if the Cradlewise app is not set for monitoring noise. This has been a headache when using my phone for media and hopefully will be resolved in the next update.

this is is great for keeping an eye on my son in his crib but the most recent update messed up the speaker on my phone. For some odd reason my phone plays sound out of the ear speaker. As soon as I uninstalled this app the problem went away. I install the app again and the problem comes right back.

The app overrides my bluetooth headset playing music and forces the phone to play all audio through the phone speaker.

Audio is not only poor it regularly switches overall audio to phone call (even with the app off) making it unusable

biggest complaint is that when I'm listening to other audio apps (Spotify, audible, etc) and then check cradlewise it won't let the audio play continue to play in the background.

App is ok. Not the best, not the worst. Good part: pretty stable, never crashed on my Samsung. Suboptimal: when app launches apparently to be able to use microphone it switches your phone to "call" mode, putting whatever media output you had in background (music, YouTube etc) into muffled mode. Despite neither mic or speaker is enabled in Cradlewise app! So you can't open the app to check on live feed without disrupting ongoing media.

revised to: App experience is bad. It loads slowly even with 5G wifi & 1 gig fiber. (sometimes just not at all or says something stupid like, "shhh, this screen is napping right now.") 2.4G works better for the crib. Controls and settings are limited and sometimes cumbersome. Poor quality "white noise" isn't white noise.
