Pretty solid video call app. Love that it's open source and that you can invite anyone from just a link. Only issue I have with it is that if I host a group call, the first person to join will turn into a black screen after another person joins. I can only hear them, the video just isn't there. Seems to only happen to the first person that joins, the other people remain unaffected

worst app imaginable, calls refuse to go through or outright dropped. first person to join a call has to be a moderator and have access to jitsi servers. this app is a disappointment.

Works, but not especially stable. Connection quality isn't great. If you create a room, you should automatically be the moderator of that room and be let in. Forcing to log in with a 3rd party is all kinds of bad idea, starting with being clunky and causing constant problems and being a giant privacy concern.

I tried it multiple times with up to 100 users. I faced tiny issues only, which were not affecting the ongoing meetings. However, as this is completely free (both in freedom and cost: no ads, no in-app purchases), you can try it and judge by yourself. The audio and video quality are excellent. The default setting for screen sharing is 5 FPS, but you can increase it up to 30 FPS. We should use and support open source apps like this and encourage others to do so in order to improve them more.
