this is the gigachad of note apps my only problem with it is I can have notes on my home screen as a widget a tutorial would be nice tho

Obsidian is just a supercharged text editor. Think Microsoft Word or OneNote, but endlessly customizable, private, and free. The files are your own, never stored on a third party server unless you explicitly decide to do so. The app has a massive library of extensions, a very active community making these extensions, and a smart team of devs who knows what their users want. Whatever you need, Obsidian can do it.
