The OpenRoaming App configures your device with Free, Seamless and Secure Wi-Fi using your Google or Apple ID. This service can be leveraged in many Wi-Fi networks around the world. After activating the service on your device through the app, there is nothing more for you to do, your device will automatically attach to Wi-Fi where supported.

Never understood what this was for exactly and never saw it do anything but take up space. Based off the understanding that I do have of the app from looking more into it, it's supposed to find hotspots easier, but I honestly think most phone's have this capability already built into them these days as well as this app being outdated! I really think it's just after Data!

Developers - does not work. Login page triggers Google's secure browser policy. Bad user agent.

This doesn't work on a supposedly compatible chromebook. I get (inaccurate) "wrong identity or password or EAP authorization failure. I am at a WBA event with a Openroaming network, which I finally got to work on a Google Pixel 6 somehow. Though the Cisco app says no networks connected yet!
