App lags at sign in and has to be restarted. Also, frequent internal transfer failures. This app has been unreliable in the past. I think it's time to switch banks.

for most things this app is great, however every single time I try to mobile deposit a check it shuts down the whole app. it takes the picture and then "South State App is not responding" is the notice I get. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, I have restarted my phone, I'm at a loss. I live 45 mins away from the nearest bank and really rely on the mobile deposit to be able to access my money. if this issue isn't fixed I am going to have to change banks. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

The Worst! I tried to transfer money FROM my south state account via debit card TO another bank of mine and they declined the money transfer to the point where my card was placed on restriction. I called to get the card unrestricted and she claimed the restriction was removed. I tried the transfer again and it declined! At that point, I was done. About 2 weeks later, I went into Walmart to buy groceries and my card declined! RESTRICTED upon checking!!! I'm not banking here anymore!!!!!

I'm so sick of this app not being compatible with my device because it's an older model. Bring the app back. I'm not getting a new phone just for it! I'm tired of going through the website. I need to deposit checks!!!!!
