United is not good with non-US customers. I just spent 1h trying to pay for my luggage. app taking ages to handle every single request... and would then require a US address for payment. trying through the website made it clear that I can't pre-pay... United is not treating US and non-US customers equally.

can't sign into my account after latest updates. after 15 min get a message 'something went wrong'. rebooted by phone a few times, tried troubleshooting, uninstalled and installed the app again. Nothing g worked. the worst update ever!

Used to offer more perks if you were a United Mileage plus cardholder, but like most airlines they care less and less about the loyalty of their customers. Have to pay a hefty amount just to choose your seat (which used to be free if you were a cardholder) and don't allow carryon for basic economy. Quality has dropped considerably in the last year. Starting the search for a new airline.
