The app itself is ok, but the userbase is a bit of a joke. As a freelancer based in the UK I regularly do freelance work (outside upwork) and earn a decent income. 95% of upwork clients want days/weeks worth of work for $10 or similar ridiculous costs, and you have to have paid upwork for credits to have the privilege to make an offer to do work. I have earned well from one single reasonable client from Germany, but this is a needle in a haystack.
